For our guests outside of France, the easiest way to reach the French Republic is via Charles de Gaulle (CDG) international airport.
Other than San Francisco, major American cities have airports like New York's JFK or Boston's Logan BOS with multiple daily nonstop flights to CDG on several carriers. Paris can be reached in ~8 hours from the east coast.
Stockholm's Arlanda offers 3 daily nonstop flights to CDG in under 3 hours. From London, we recommend taking the Eurostar to Gare de Nord where you can convienantly transfer to the TGV or pick up a rental car.
We are monitoring the impending ETIAS system for guests arriving from outside of the Schengen Zone. We are hopeful that it will not go into effect until Q4'26, which is after our wedding.
Let's use Buffalo as an example starting point and assume you just wish to come for the weekend. You definitely should extend your time in France and take advantage of our Things to Do.
